I had this record in my wishlist for ages (probably since it came out) and I never listened to it, as with most of the stuff that ends in my wishlist. Then at some point I had a chance to see them live and finally listened to it for some time before the gig. I thought the band was a bit cold. Still, the riffs are there and the sound too. And it was a nice show anyway! I'm curious to see where this band is heading! Support them!

I feel like there’s a terrible nihilistic streak in crust and hardcore these days, and Rot//Woven is the absolute antidote to that. There is a righteous anger and revolutionary optimism that will keep your spirits up while you storm the precinct, and the bouncy rhythms, dual vocals, and Sedition split-era Pink Turds/Mankind?/Disaffect/Witchunt/etc. with a contemporary twist sound will keep the flame in your crusty old heart alive long enough to burn this racist system down.
